In the summer vacation of 2021, teachers and students of the College of Fisheries took the initiative to participate in the volunteer service in the flight against flood and epidemic, promoting the spirit of volunteer service.
Member of Communist Party of China, Qingzhao Jin returned home, took the initiative to contact the CENTER for Disease Control and Prevention, and applied to become a volunteer, responsible for maintaining order of the nucleic acid test.
Chenghao Du, a member of Communist Party of China, worked as a volunteer in several villages and for hundreds of households.
Such volunteerism is not unique.
Shihao Wang and other students from Class 1901 also participated in the epidemic prevention and community services.
After the school issued a notice to recruit school volunteers. A total of 30 undergraduate and graduate students in the school actively participated in the volunteer work for 300 hours in total.
Twenty-two teachers participated in the epidemic prevention and control of the community, such as reminding teachers and students to wear masks and take daily precautions.
